Amo i luoghi comuni,amo cavalcare gli stereotipi, mi piace e mi diverte, L’Olanda sarebbe un esempio da imitare ma questa è un opinione personale e quindi totalmente soggettiva.L’Olanda è il paese di JP Vermeijden, Rotterdam è la sua città , questo ci interessa, questo è il motivo di questo post. JP Vermeijden è un’artista, JP Vermeijden è un artigiano.
Il suo primo lavoro è web-designer e grafico e questo è evidente se visitate il suo bel sito (Lucky LureS) ma il lato acquatico, il lato nascosto di questo uomo ci interessa un po’ di più a noi pescatori, JP è un Lure Builder con la maiuscola, costruisce & progetta esche per predatori d’acqua dolce, il Norther Pike è la sua passione.
Jp inizia la sua carriera da costruttore per motivi noti a tanti altri con questa passione, quello che offriva il mercato non era quello che cercava, chi fa da sé fa per tre si potrebbe dire e la soddisfazione di essere totalmente artefice del successo delle proprie catture possono capirlo solo i moschisti e chi come JP crea i propri inganni con le sue mani. I’essenza preferita da questo costruttore Olandese è il Faggio (Fagus Sylvatica)
con il quale costruisce il modello per poi farne il calco , il materiale finale usato per le sue creazioni è un tipo di resina chiamato Solid PU, molto dura ma simile al legno. Le sue opere oltre che di un alta qualità estetica hanno un movimento molto molto sinuoso e naturale. La creazione di ogni singolo modello può essere molto lunga e JP si avvale anche delle sue capacità informatiche per la realizzazione dei modelli.
Se L’Olanda è il moderno paese dei Balocchi, JP non può che essere un moderno Geppetto anche se di bugie qua non c’è traccia!
