Pesciolino Rosso?

Chissà quanti di voi hanno avuto un povero pesce rosso da ragazzini....

Chissà quanti di voi hanno imprigionato questi poveri pinnuti in una piccola bolla di vetro....

Chissà quanti di voi l'avranno perso nel lavandino.....

Beh forse finalmente abbiamo capito dove andavano a finire............

forse ha pensato la stessa cosa  Raphael Biagini il fortunato protagonista di questa insolita cattura,

il pesce dal peso di circa 15 kg è stato catturato dopo un combattimento di 10 minuti in un lago nel sud della Francia dove da anni i pescatori locali cercavano di catturarlo.

grazie alla sportività di Monsieur Biagini che dopo la foto ha liberato questo fantastico esemplare di carpa koi potranno continuare a sognare il loro gigantesco antagonista rosso.

Come scritto tempo fa, il rusty blog ospita e ospiterà ogni settimana uno spazio dedicato al mondo della fotografia, dei fotografi e della vita sopra, sotto e intorno all’elemento ACQUA. 

Ad aprire le danze questa settimana è un fotografo fuori dagli schemi, un’uomo di mare e un fotografo, un pescatore vero,

Corey Arnold .

Avete presente le onde terribili del mare di Bering? quelle onde che fanno paura quando le osserviamo dal nostro comodo divano? quelle sono il set ideale per Corey, quello è il suo elemento naturale  da quando passa l’inverno a bordo del Rollo, un peschereccio impegnato nella pesca del granchio reale. La dura vita  dei pescatori del nord è il mondo documentato da questo fotografo, che sia il mare di Bering, i mari scandinavi a bordo delle baleniere, o la pesca del salmone selvatico nella Bristol Bay in Alaska, Corey riesce a mostrare quello che abbiamo solo potuto immaginare, Queste durissime esperienze fanno parte del suo progetto dal titolo “Fish-Work”, lavoro che documenta la vita dei pescatori commerciali in giro per il mondo. Corey è diventato famoso nel mondo della televisione grazie alla sua presenza nel programma Deadliest Catch in onda su Discovery Channel a bordo del citato Rollo.

Quando non si trova in giro a bordo di pescherecci, i suoi lavori diventano meno duri e la sua ironia è ancora più evidente.

Ora Corey si trova in giro per chi sa quale mare del nostro continente, mentre noi siamo belli comodi qua.........

To open the dances this week is a photographer outside the box, a seaman and a photographer, a true fisherman,

Corey Arnold.

You know the terrible waves of the Bering Sea? those waves that are frightening when we look from our comfortable couch? those are the ideal set for Corey, that is his natural element when passing from the winter aboard the Rollo, a fishing vessel engaged in fishing for king crab. The hard life of fishermen in the north is the world documented by the photographer, who is the Bering Sea, the Nordic seas on board whaling vessels, or fishing of wild salmon in Bristol Bay in Alaska, Corey is able to show that we have only could imagine, these harsh experiences are part of his project titled "Fish-Work," It documents the lives of commercial fishermen around the world. Corey became famous in the world of television with its presence in the Deadliest Catch program aired on the Discovery Channel on board of Rollo Vessels.

When he's not around on board vessels, his work has become less hard and his irony is even more evident.

Now Corey is around who knows what the sea of our continent, we are beautiful and comfortable here .........

Pop Art Fish?

Oggi ho ricevuto una mail dal amico Jon Schwartz famoso fotografo americano, con delle foto su un pesce alquanto bizzarro, l’animale in questione è un Opah Fish, un pesce pelagico che normalmente si trova solo a grandi profondità, molto inusuale allora risulta questo ritrovamento da parte di un surfista su una spiaggia di San Diego California, l’animale è stato trovato in fin di vita dal Surfer Scott Williams, che frequenta queste spot da 41 anni. Sinceramente non avevo mai sentito parlare di questa specie dai colori fantastici,  perché nessuno ne pratica una pesca mirata anche se oltre a essere molto bello questo pinnuto possiede delle carni molto pregiate.

Uno dei pochi esemplari di grosse dimensioni documentati in questi anni è stato preso dal capitano Dale Leverone unico esperto per quanto riguarda la pesca al Opah Fish, la cattura è stata effettuata a Kona Hawaii, il suo esemplare vista la rarità del pesce e la taglia sensazionale aveva conquistato la copertina del Hawaii Fishing News.

il mare riesce sempre a stupire.

Art Of the WeeK

Credo sia possibile.

Credo sia successo.

Credo che capiti a tanti.

Perdersi e vagare, 

Perdersi per volere proprio.

Forse ma non sono sicuro capita anche all’artista presente in questo spazio, bisogna che glie lo chieda, che gli domandi se capita di concentrarsi così tanto o forse così poco da non capire cosa si sta pensando, qualunque sia il motivo devo dire che è piacevole.

La pittura ad acquerello mi ha sempre dato questa sensazione, sarò l’imprecisione voluta, saranno i contorni sfumati, sarò che è un genere che permette di sfocare e dare movimento.

Philip Pittsenbarger  pratica la pittura ad acquerello, non è il suo mestiere per il momento, perché il suo estro artistico si esprime attraverso la professione di architetto, laureato alla prestigiosa Berkeley University della California, quando invece è in “borghese” Phil ama pescare le trote nei piccoli corsi d’acqua dell’Oregon e girare per per i boschi con lo zaino in spalla, come in tanti casi la malattia della pittura insieme a quella della pesca si manifesta già in giovane età e anche lui non è stato immune, dimostrando i sintomi negli anni della scuola. 

I soggetti preferiti delle sue opere sono le trote perché permettono una pittura senza fine dei loro particolari oltre a essere l’animale più bello del mondo per Philip, l’acquerello è la sua tecnica preferita perché permette una continua evoluzione e riesce a cambiare in base all’umore dell’artista.........

o forse a perdersi dentro....................

I think it's possible.

Non è facile vedere qualcosa di nuovo, ormai tutto sembra già visto, ci sono le repliche, le versioni  rifatte e intere serie, Rambo1,Rambo2,Rambo3 e la saga infinita di rocky, bisogna proprio ammettere che al giorno d'oggi stupire non è cosa facile anzi....

Molix è un brand italiano che si occupa di saltwater e freshwater, la produzione è ampia, il cuore è italiano e lo spirito bisogna dire che è dinamico, credo non sia sbagliato dire a proposito di questa firma italica che sono gli unici ad aver fatto sentire la "nostra" presenza oltre oceano con collaborazioni importanti e un'occhio attento per l'innovazione.

mi è capitato di vedere questa novità nel loro catalogo e credo di non aver visto niente di simile prima d'ora e da quello che ho potuto vedere nei vari video presenti sulla rete, il Proteus 90 è un esca topwater con un movimento particolare, le dimensioni sono 9 cm per 16 grammi che ne fanno un'esca versatile, spero ben presto di poter testare con mano....
