Ceci n'est pas un pièce de bois....
Per il momento abbiamo sempre parlato di costruttori o meglio ancora di artigiani provenienti dal Giappone, con qualche piccola divagazione Americana, ma è molto interessante poter vedere le diverse soluzioni presenti in giro per il mondo, un pezzo di legno si presta a molte interpretazioni, idee e concetti diversi, anche le acque e le prede cambiano e bisogna sempre considerare, secondo me il processo e giudicare tutte le creazioni dei vari lure builder come se fossero delle piccole opere d'arte ed io trovo molto interessante poter vedere soluzioni così diverse tra loro geograficamente e concettualmente. Un pezzo di legno può essere una cosa molto diversa per tante persone ed è affascinate pensare che comunque un'essere vivente come un'albero può rivivere una seconda volta anche se in modo artificiale!

Molto Interessante il nuovo stickbait della river2sea, disegnato dal famoso pescatore et conduttore televisivo et lure designer Larry Dahlberg, questo nuova nuova esca è disponibile in due versioni floating e slow sinking, due le taglie disponibili, la "baby" da 120 mm per 7/8 in versione galleggiante e 1oz1/8 per la versione affondante, tutte con armatura passante.
Nella versione Monster tropical o per i nostri bluefin River2sea propone due taglie da 200mm con un peso di 4 once per la versione floating e ben 5 once (140grammi) per la versione obesa sinking. I prezzi sembrano molto convenienti, 12 dollari americani per la versione "baby" e 21 dollari per la "monster"version, questi sono i prezzi presenti nel catalogo usa della River2Sea, si spera di non avere la classica lievitazione tutta italiana..

Ormai siamo abituati a vedere novità da tutte le parti del mondo, esche e finzioni più o meno catturanti, più o meno originali.
Sinceramente non mi era ancora capitato di vedere un'imitazione in gomma di un ragno di queste dimensioni come quella proposta da Gan Craft, originale brand Nipponico.
il Ragnaccio in questione viene venduto per essere usato come trailer da jig per il bassfishing, sicuro potrebbe essere un ottimo deterrente per fidanzate mogli curiose!

When Salmons Plays Jazz!
Nata nel 1984 nella fredda baia di Bristol in Alaska, Apayo Moore inizia ad esprimere la sua passione per la pittura in tenera età prendendo ispirazione dai grandi classici di Walt Disney e dai personaggi dei cartoni animati che hanno accompagnato la sua infanzia.
Apayo fa parte di una lunga generazione di pescatori suo padre,i suoi nonni e suoi bisnonni hanno passato la propria esistenza a bordo dei pescherecci seguendo il ciclo della vita dei salmoni, e ci tiene ad aggiungere che la pesca non è intensa solo come una tradizione commerciale della famiglia ma come una tradizione ancestrale, un legame ben definito, i frutti della pesca hanno sempre fatto parte di questa famiglia da generazioni, i pesci e la pesca sono parti integrale della loro storia.
Una delle sue opere più recenti è ispirata alla necessità di tutelare Bristol Bay (la più grande zona di pesca del salmone selvatico del mondo) dalla costruzione della più grande miniera a cielo aperto per l’estrazione di oro e rame che dovrebbe sorgere nelle zone di deposizione dei salmoni selvatici proprio vicino ai laghi Lliamna e Clark, questo rappresenta un grande rischio di inquinamento, come il drenaggio acido che è noto per sterilizzare fiumi e laghi e anche se il progetto prevede una tutela dell’ambiente, nella storia delle estrazioni minerarie il danneggiamento dei terreni e delle acque circostanti è sempre accaduto. Questo progetto è conosciuto comunemente come PEBBLE MINE.
Apayo Moore, con la sua arte cerca di diffondere la consapevolezza per la tutela della acque che ospitano quello che per un intera popolazione rappresenta la vita e la propria storia, proteggere la baia di Bristol significa difendere la propria esistenza e le proprie tradizioni, permettere lo stupro delle proprie terre potrebbe essere la cause della loro estinzione,non solo quella del loro amato Salmone.

2Tone Handmade Lures è una creazione di Takeshi Fukuma, giovane costruttore 31enne di Osaka, che non trovando nessun fascino nelle esche normalmente commercializzate ha iniziato a costruire artificiali da sè, questa serie di artificiali artigianali è destinata alla pesca del BlackBass,
La sua produzione è basata quasi totalmente sulla pesca di superficie, TopWater fanatic come il sottoscritto Takeshi San ha fondato la 2tone lures nel 2003, le essenze utilizzate da Mr Fukuma sono il legno di Ayuzu ( Obeche ) Basswood (Tiglio) Jelton (Dyera Costulata )
i tempi di creazione sono molto lunghi e per costruire un singolo artificiale, ci vogliono non meno di 10 giorni, mentre per la progettazione i tempi si allungano fino a un’anno. Il nome 2tone proviene dal concetto tra materie opposte unite in una dimensione superiore. Una curiosità particolare , i creatori di 2tone lures, Vis lures e Tsunami lures sono tutti vicini di casa!
